When Looking For A Wedding Videographer...

Hi, I'm Erik Johnson - Seattle Wedding Videography Expert. I'm here today to give you some valuable tips that you can use when hiring a videographer for your wedding or any special event for that matter.

  1. Never just assume a videographer knows how to shoot video - ALWAYS ask for a demo reel, some professionals will feature these right on their website - for easy access.
  2. ALWAYS sign a contract - the last thing you need is a videographer backing out on you on that special day. This is mutually beneficial - make sure you get your special moments captured - make sure they are well paid for their amazing work.
  3. You get what you pay for - Cheapest doesn't always equate to the best. Often the bottom of the barrel in pricing are also bottom of the barrel with quality, customer service, and general professionalism.
  4. No, you uncle's friends dad's cousin is NOT a videographer - He's probably a great guy. Unfortunately, not a videographer - just a guy with a camera, and most likely - not even a very good camera. Remember, this is a once in a lifetime event you're capturing. Chances are, you'd like it done right. A onetime charge, for a lifetime supply of your favorite memories captured on film.

Well, for now that should get you started. Best of luck to you, and if you need any help, or have any questions, feel free to contact me at my website:
